How does Mono PERC Solar Panel work?
PERC stands for Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell, so mono PERC solar panels have an additional Di-electric passivation layer at the back of the solar cell. The PERC architecture improves light capture near the rear surface. The rear side of the PERC cell has a dielectric layer that reflects the sunlight to the cell, which might have otherwise passed through the cell without releasing an electron. This way the photon gets an opportunity to generate more electrons thus increasing electric current and efficiency. When sunlight hits the solar panel, it excites the electrons in the silicon, creating an electrical current. The electrical current is then sent to an inverter, which converts the DC (direct current) electricity produced by the solar panel into AC (alternating current) electricity that can be used to power homes and businesses.
Applications of Mono PERC solar panels
Mono PERC solar panels are efficient and cost-effective PV Panels to generate electricity from the sun. Mono solar panels can be used in a variety of applications, from residential and commercial solar systems to large-scale solar farms and portable solar chargers. Mono PERC solar Modules are commonly used in residential solar systems to generate electricity for homes. Mono PERC panels are also used in commercial solar systems, such as those installed on the roofs of office buildings or warehouses. Mono solar panels can also be used in large-scale solar farms that generate electricity for the grid.
