भारत में Solar Energy का इस्तेमाल अब सिर्फ बिजली बनाने तक सीमित नहीं रहने वाला है। Solar की मदद से industrial factories/industries में इस्तेमाल होने वाली heat भी तैयार की जा सकती है।

इसी दिशा में Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) ने Indian industry में Concentrating Solar Thermal (CST) technology को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक नया proposal call जारी किया है। MNRE का यह call 8 September 2026 को जारी हुआ है और proposals जमा करने की अंतिम तारीख 7 October 2026 है।

इस initiative का मकसद industries में process heating के लिए इस्तेमाल होने वाले fossil fuels को कम करना और उनकी जगह solar thermal technology को बढ़ावा देना है।

Solar से Factory में Heat कैसे बनेगी?

हम आमतौर पर Solar Panel को बिजली बनाने के लिए जानते हैं। लेकिन Concentrating Solar Thermal technology में sunlight को electricity में बदलने के बजाय उसकी heat को concentrate करके industrial processes के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।

इस technology में mirrors या reflective surfaces सूर्य की रोशनी को एक receiver पर concentrate करते हैं। इससे heat generate होती है, जिसे industrial process में इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है।

MNRE ने “Call for proposals for Concentrating Solar Thermal Technology for Indian Industry” जारी किया है।

इस initiative के तहत ऐसे projects और technology solutions को बढ़ावा देने का उद्देश्य है जो industries में solar thermal energy को practically इस्तेमाल करने में मदद कर सकें। Official notice के अनुसार proposal window 8 September 2026 से 7 October 2026 तक है।

Reports के अनुसार इस programme में eligible proposals के लिए 50% तक financial support, अधिकतम ₹2 crore तक, उपलब्ध हो सकता है। यह support industrial process heating के लिए CST technology को बढ़ावा देने पर केंद्रित है।

1. Fossil Fuel पर निर्भरता कम

कई industrial processes में heat पैदा करने के लिए conventional fuels का इस्तेमाल होता है। Solar thermal technology इन applications में fossil fuel consumption कम करने में मदद कर सकती है।

2. Energy Cost को कम करने का मौका

एक बार solar thermal system install होने के बाद sunlight से मिलने वाली heat का इस्तेमाल industrial process में किया जा सकता है। इससे कुछ applications में conventional fuel consumption और उससे जुड़ी operating cost को कम करने का opportunity मिल सकता है। हालांकि actual savings हर factory की process, temperature requirement, operating hours और system design पर depend करेगी।

4. Solar Energy का नया इस्तेमाल

अब तक Solar Energy की चर्चा ज्यादातर electricity generation और rooftop solar के आसपास रही है। Industrial Solar Heat इस picture को बदल सकता है क्योंकि इसमें Solar से सीधे thermal energy यानी heat हासिल की जाती है।

Solar Thermal और Solar Panel में क्या अंतर है?

यानी future में existing factories भी अपने conventional heating systems के साथ solar thermal systems को integrate कर सकती हैं, जहां technical और economic conditions suitable हों।

₹2 करोड़ की मदद किसे मिलेगी?

यहां एक जरूरी बात समझना जरूरी है।

₹2 करोड़ को हर factory के लिए fixed solar subsidy नहीं समझना चाहिए।

MNRE का current initiative proposal-based support से जुड़ा है। Reports के अनुसार industry, startups, private institutions और entrepreneurs को eligible proposals के लिए financial support मिल सकता है, जो 50% तक और अधिकतम ₹2 crore तक हो सकता है।

इसलिए किसी भी company को application करने से पहले official MNRE guidelines और eligibility conditions जरूर check करनी चाहिए।
